平寨村是广东省茂名市信宜市朱砂镇（位于镇的北部）的行政村。据博雅地名网所载，村下设12个村民小组，在册458户、1765人，全村总面积3.54平方千米，耕地773亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村域大、地势平坦、居民集中，称为平寨。[1]

民国时期，平寨归石根堡管辖。解放后到1976年，石根、平寨、旺科合称石根大队；1977年三地各为一个大队，平寨即其一。1983年改称乡，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定名平寨村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村里主要种植水稻、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有种植粉蕉（香蕉）[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将平寨村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，平寨村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
