历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：坑沟冲积物多为黄泥沙，原名黄沙，后雅称旺沙。[1]
民国时期，旺沙归石印堡管辖。1980年设旺沙乡，1989年设村民委员会，1991年设管理区办事处，1999年定名旺沙村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、花生、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡，种植三华李和八角[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将旺沙村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
