历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：垌地势高，无论从哪个方向来都要爬岭，起初叫爬垌，后改成雅致的琶垌。[1]
民国时期，此地称琶垌堡；到1952年成了琶垌生产队，1978年设朱砂琶垌乡政府，1989年起为朱砂镇的琶垌管理区办事处，至1999年才定名琶垌村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯、生姜；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将琶垌村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，琶垌村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
