历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：地势由上而下延伸，有六个小山包环抱，起初叫六璞，后改称大六。[1]
新中国成立后，原称六璞的地方改叫大六。大六生产大队设于1961年，1983年起改为乡，1986年称村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定名大六村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、玉米、马铃薯、蕃薯、花生、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡，种植三华李[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将大六村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月将大六村确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。2019年9月，大六村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
