历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：依山傍水，周围山脉连绵，形似一条盘旋的龙，故名盘龙。[1]
民国时期，盘龙属木辂乡第九堡，解放初称第九村。1952年自木辂乡划出，设盘龙小乡；1956年与新圩、林渥、佛水、燕贺共同组成贵旺乡；1962年人民公社建立后，盘龙大队分出独立。1983年起为乡，1987年称村民委员会，1999年定名盘龙村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、花生、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖网箱鱼，种植三华李[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将盘龙村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。盘龙村于2023年4月列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
