历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：佛水片紧邻深塘片，深塘地势较高、四周皆低，水源却充足，人们不明就里，误以为是仙水，引来灌田并叫作佛水。[1]
佛水在民国时期隶属怀乡区木辂乡的第八堡，解放后称第八村。1958年为贵子公社盘龙大队的一部分；1963年旺沙公社成立，佛水大队自盘龙大队分出。1983年起为乡，1987年称村民委员会，1999年定名佛水村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、花生、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有种植三华李[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将佛水村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
