历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：最早迁到此地定居的是姓万和姓廖的两户人家，故称万廖，1952年按谐音改写为文料。[1]
文料生产大队设于1961年；1983年改为乡，1986年称村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定名文料村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、花生、玉米、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡和母猪，种植三华李、大肉姜[1]。
荣誉[edit]
在广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中，文料村以百香果入选。[1]
