新圩村是广东省茂名市化州市合江镇下辖的行政村，在镇的北部，分8个村民小组。[1]村民委员会自述（未注年份）：登记738户、3392人，总面积6.3平方千米，耕地1560亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1946年至1949年间的解放初期，设有新圩乡；1958年人民公社化，叫新圩公社，下分七个大队；1962年七个大队并成新圩大队；1983年在区公所之下恢复新圩乡之称；1987年起为新圩村民委员会，1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年重称村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1920毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑、蔬菜。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入1230.7万元。[1]村里种有约100亩蚕桑，设有收茧站，又引入资金开办毛线厂1家，据称安置100名劳动力。[1]

  • 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
