历史沿革[edit]
合江乡之名始于1953年土地改革；1958年人民公社化，改为合江公社所辖的合江大队，1962年沿用；到1983年并入合江乡，1987年建镇后成立合江村民委员会；1989年起一度叫合江管理区办事处，至1999年又恢复村民委员会之称，延续到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1890毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑、花生。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入2372.5万元。[1]村里以蚕桑为特色，已有约百亩的桑园基地，并与其他部门一道成立了合江镇蚕桑产业协会，每年开办两三期种桑养蚕技术班。近年有十多家企业、酒楼和超市落户，吸纳500多人就业，据称每年增加收入100多万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
