历史沿革[edit]
解放初，塘村人负责筹办初级社，自报为「塘口初级社」；1952年土地改革时划入平定六区。1958年人民公社化，归合江公社，叫塘口大队；1983年改为塘口乡；1987年3月成立塘口村民委员会；1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年重称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1930毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑、养猪。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入1256万元。[1]村民种桑约100亩，办有养猪场10个；村里自筹资金修通3公里村道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
