历史沿革[edit]
民国前期归陵罗乡，1949年后归化六区。人民公社化的1958年，塘坑公社下设塘坑大队；1983年设区公所，该地叫塘坑乡；1987年建镇，改设村民委员会；1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年重称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1920毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入992.8万元。[1]村里引入资金300多万元建起刨花厂两家，据称解决了村民就业；另修水泥路3公里。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
