据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温24℃、年降雨量1940毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑、荔枝。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入473.8万元。[1]村里鼓励村民种植辣椒、玉米各约100亩，荔枝约150亩，蚕桑约100亩，产品销往珠江三角洲；全村水泥路面铺成2公里。村特色收入来自蚕桑、香蕉和荔枝。[1]
