历史沿革[edit]
这一带原先归凤尾乡，1959年撤乡建大队，分设高坑、塘面、新圩三队；到1960年合为一队，称新圩大队，1983年起称新圩乡，1986年又变为农村管理区，1999年定名为新圩村民委员会，此名用到现在。[1]
