历史沿革[edit]
新车大队设于1962年；1983年成立区公所，该地改为新车乡；1987年改设乡镇，成立新车村民委员会；1989年一度叫新车管理区办事处，1999年重称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1920毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入1433.3万元。[1]村民种植约100亩蚕桑，并扩大基地规模；村里设有蚕茧收购点，自筹资金铺设了3公里水泥村道。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
清代的李东桓墓在该村委会辖下的金窝村安岭，列为化州市第四批县级文物保护单位。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年10月，入选2019年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
