塘尾社区是吴川市海滨街道下辖的社区，居委会设在塘尾村，位于325国道旁，辖15条自然村，总面积6.3平方千米，耕地3397亩[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1980年吴川县政府批准海沟、塘尾两大队并为塘尾大队，隶塘尾公社；到1997年更名塘尾居委会，改由海滨街道办事处管辖[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

户籍人口9114人[2]。产业以农、林、渔为主，其中海水养殖增长较快[2]。辖区内的塘尾小学、新地小学都建于80年代，后者2005年扩建，新校区面积达5000平方米[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」[1]。
