东溪村在汕头市潮南区峡山街道，练江边，因村东濒溪河而名，明代1489年建寨。2021年9月入选「第二批广东省一村一品一镇一业专业村」，2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1][2]

现状[edit]

全村1325户、8075人，辖区1825亩，耕地1325亩，华侨较多，他们出资建水塔、修桥路、办学校。主要农业是养鱼、种水稻和香蕉；有家庭作坊56家、中小企业9家，做内衣、塑料、睡衣和五金。[2]

村里建筑既有四点金、下山虎，也有现代楼房，设有中、小学各一所。2020至2022年上榜淘宝村名单。[2][1]
