李围村在汕头市潮南区峡山街道南部，李围与里和（沟尾堀）两个自然村合成此村，李姓居多，兼有蔡姓。清嘉庆三年（1798年），李赞峰从大宅乡迁来，村初称“大宅新乡”“新寨”，也称“李厝围”。2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1][2]
