全村1255户、7148人，耕地约有800亩，手工业发达，设有纺纱、织带和服装企业。2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」，2020至2022年上榜淘宝村名单。[2][1]
百度百科称村中华侨众多，解放战争时期是游击队的根据地之一。[3]
