东溪村是梅州市梅县区丙村镇辖下的一个行政村，因一条溪流从村中流过而得名。[1]
地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，有溪水自三乡东面向西流经本村，故名东溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
东溪在清末归锦州堡，1940年划入锦州乡，1952年立东溪乡，属丙村区，1956年复归锦州乡，1958年入丙村人民公社，成为东溪大队。1983年建东溪乡，1987年设管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]
