金溪社区是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇下辖的社区，位于镇政府所在地和镇商贸中心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称由来：村地溪河环绕，原名溪内，后因“金谷满仓”改称金溪。[1]

明洪武年间（1368年至1398年）建村，取名金溪；新中国成立初隶属潮阳县十六区，1958年入光锋公社，1961年改归金玉公社；1984年成金溪乡，1986年成立村委会，1999年起设居委会。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，金溪社区地处金灶镇政府驻地，也是镇上的商贸中心，全社区1720户、8355人，耕地1250亩，林地2500亩，出产香蕉、蔬菜、生柑、杨梅、油甘。（简介未注明统计年份）[1]
