桥陈村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于小北山南麓、潮水溪南岸。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村249户、1236人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属金玉镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：全村人都姓陈，村西南有一座进村必经的桥，起初叫上桥陈村，后简称桥陈村。[1]

清康熙五十九年（1720年），陈氏先人从本镇的柳岗村分支迁来建村（简介中另有“康熙年间”一说）。[1]

公社化时期先属光锋公社，该社拆分后归金玉公社。1984年起成乡，1986年设村委会，1988年改称管理区。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地356亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2019年9月，进入广东省文化和旅游厅首批命名的「广东省文化和旅游特色村」；2019年11月，农业农村部推介它为「2019年中国美丽休闲乡村」；2019年12月，进入第二批国家森林乡村的名单；2021年2月，司法部和民政部把它列入「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2024年4月，列为「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」的创建对象。[1]
