竹桥村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于关金公路北侧。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村1163户、5581人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属金玉镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：村境四周有溪河环绕，早年以竹搭桥通行，村名由此而来。[1]
村情简介称村创建于1174年至1188年间，而同一页的历史沿革则记载郭氏先人于宋靖康元年（1126年）从福建莆田迁来立村。[1]
新中国成立后，由竹桥、外洋、汀港三村并为竹桥村；2003年随金玉镇并入金灶镇；到2004年，竹桥、澄港、外洋三地的村委会并为一个，驻原竹桥村（三处资料对另一村名分别写作汀港、澄港）。[1]
经济[edit]
据村情简介，全村耕地1210亩，辖3个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
