沟头村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于金灶镇西北，与揭阳市隔江相望。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村900户、4000人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属灶浦镇。^[1]

村名由来：境内五条沟、三条河、一处水堀都通向潮水溪入口，故名沟头。^[1]

南宋景定年间（1260年起）建村。^[1]

公社化时期属光锋公社，光锋公社拆分后归灶浦公社；1984年改乡，1986年设村委会。^[1]

据村情简介，全村耕地1200亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉、生柑。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2021年12月获评2021年广东省卫生村。^[1]^[2]
