金沟村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于榕江南岸。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村430户、1987人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属灶浦镇。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：村边有水渠绕过，原称经沟村；明代中期，村中富户吴鉴、吴少山等夸耀家资富足，把村名改成了金沟。^[1]

北宋熙宁年间（1068年至1070年）建村。^[1]

1958年属灶浦公社，1984年改乡，1986年设村委会。^[1]

据村情简介，全村耕地500亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉。^[1]

村中的麻田山有吴复古夫妇墓，年代为宋，属古墓葬，2014年10月10日公布为汕头市文物保护单位。^[2]

吴复古（1004年至1101年），字子野，号远游，生于海阳县，北宋人，被列为“潮州八贤”之一。他在潮阳麻田山筑远游庵，与苏轼兄弟交好；听说苏轼遇赦复官，前往会晤，行至清远峡时病逝，归葬麻田。村情简介还把八景山列为村内景点。^[3]^[2]
