永安社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归永祥街道。辖区面积约0.08平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前辖区内商家很多，商人祈愿生活永远安稳顺遂，因以取名。[1]

2002年1月，居委会设置调整，原上永安、下永安两个居委会合并为永安居委会；其后归金平区永祥街道。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

辖区内的企业有吉祥装潢工艺、方大应用包装、茂发食品和天际电器等，主干道有永泰路、永平路和升平路。[1]
