历史沿革[edit]
1949年，金坑与现在的祝荷合在一起，设东和乡。1958年两者分开，金坑成为生产大队。1984年称乡，1986年称村民委员会，1989年称管理区；1991年金坑复设村民委员会。2006年划入东成镇后，名称不变。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据村里的介绍，全村534户、1963人，总面积15600亩，耕地2665亩，是江门市的贫困村之一。[1]村民以种养为主，主要种水稻，兼养肉猪，超过百头的养猪大户有7户；村里引进了几家企业，新建了扶贫楼来增加集体收入。[1]
