桂馥社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归同益街道。辖区面积约0.11平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

辖区内有桂馥里，故以为名。[1]

此前属中山街道，该街道1991年10月划归升平区；2001年12月，中山、中马两街道并为同益街道；2003年3月，桂馥居委会随同益街道转入金平区。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

辖区内设有汕头市第六中学、海滨水利局、盐务局和路灯管养处等单位，并有中山服装专业市场和布料市场；中山公园在社区附近，主干道有公园路、月眉路和中山路。[1]
