历史沿革[edit]
起初是1958年的港六大队，1984年成为港六乡，两年后改设港六村委会，1991年称港六管理区，1998年起为港六村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇；2023年5月公布的2022年度广东省卫生村名单中，有北园村、后坑仔村、后塘村、北坑仔村、湖市村、三岭村、南村仔村、湖仔村、港六村；2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）收有该村。[1]
