新地社区是广东省汕头市龙湖区鸥汀街道下辖的社区，在街道东北角，东面隔江与澄海区相望，西距汕头火车货运北站约500米，总面积约300亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落约建于明末，在溪的东面，原名溪东村；后来兄弟分家，在村南另建新居住地，称新地。[1] 宋代时隶揭阳县蓬洲都，1563年澄海立县后归其管辖。1953年8月设渔五乡（汕头市郊区下蓬区），此后改为渔五生产大队。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

社区总人口539人，耕地150亩，居民主要外出打工、做生意，2009年人均约5000元；绿化覆盖率达80%。[1] 2026年3月入选广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇。[1]
