地理与经济[edit]
社区东邻簕冲村，南近迳头，西接西宁，北至新昌中路。耕地1018亩，村民改种蔬菜、花卉并开挖鱼塘，水稻已不足100亩。社区以集体经济为主，辖区内有橡胶厂、树脂管厂、织布厂等，也出租厂房和铺位。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代归新宁（台山）县德行都，民国时期在台山县第四区内；1954年编入开平县第一区，称中山乡，1958年改为中山大队。2002年由村民委员会改为社区居民委员会，博雅地名网另记2004年10月完成「村改居」。[1][2]
