金洲社区是广东省汕头市龙湖区鸥汀街道下辖的社区，原名李厝寨，土地面积385亩，处梅溪河东岸，万吉工业区之北，村民都姓李。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村民皆姓李，原名李厝寨，始建于宋代。1996年更名时，取李姓先祖火德公出殡遇雨、后裔遇水而立的传说，以“金生水”的“金”字，加渔洲街道的“洲”字，合成金洲。[1]
南宋时隶揭阳县蓬洲都，1563年澄海立县后归其管辖。1953年8月设渔下乡（汕头市郊区下蓬区），此后改为渔下生产大队。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区常住1650人、345户，居民小组有金桃、金李、金杏、金兰4个；建设用地204亩，农用地181亩。村民除种养外，还靠写春联补贴收入，2009年人均4680元。[1]
文化[edit]
东门池塘周围有古榕15棵、胶冬树3棵，树龄已有两三百年，社区在此建了古榕公园。[1] 2017年10月成为首批广东省卫生村；2019年9月又入选2018年度省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[1]
