新江村是汕尾市海丰县城东镇的行政村，在黄江大堤与龙津溪下游之间，南面与附城镇的新北、新东两村相望。^[1]

概况[edit]

村委驻地下辖渡头围、莫厝、柑园、柑园前、新地、湖兰、谢港、江西寮、溪墩、后笏10个自然村，居民有陈、莫、林、郭、李、刘等15个姓氏，七普常住人口200多人。^[1]

新江的前身是柑门（柑门乡、柑门大队），先后属北笏乡和赤山公社；1967年另设新江大队，其后经乡、村委会、管理区，1998年复为村委会。^[2]

新江村是水稻专业村，2020年8月进入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」名单；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。^[2]
