陈厝寨社区是广东省汕头市龙湖区鸥汀街道下辖的纯农社区，在龙湖区西北侧，总面积约1平方千米，分东西两片，东边是蔡社社区，西边是金洲社区，北边是旦家园社区，南边靠着汕头火车北站和万吉工业区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村落始创于明初，陈姓居多，又筑有寨墙成寨，故名陈厝寨。[1] 1369年（洪武二年）隶揭阳县蓬洲都，1563年澄海立县后归其管辖。1953年8月设渔上乡（汕头市郊区下蓬区），此后改为渔上生产大队。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区人口2959人，农田178亩，其中耕地123亩，设居民小组7个。居民以种菜和养禽畜为主，兴办企业17家，主要做塑料和糖果加工。[1] 塑膜是陈厝寨的“一居一品”。[2]
