中村村位于翁源县城西北、江尾镇西南部，距县城约21千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年这里是中村乡，1958年改为中村大队；1983年复称中村乡，1986年起设村委会，1993年改称管理区，1998年定名中村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情介绍，村域约19平方千米，分14个村民小组，528户、2068人；山林22500亩，耕地1560亩（含水田1262亩）。村民居住分散，交通不便，集体资源贫乏，全年集体收入仅4万多元，村民种稻谷、蔬菜、水果和糖蔗；五保户10户10人，低保户11户43人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，中村村被纳入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建范围。[1]
