梅斜村地处江尾镇边远山区，是革命老区，是镇内辖区面积较大的村。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年这里是梅斜村乡，1958年改为梅斜村大队；1983年复称梅斜村乡，1986年起设村委会，1993年改称管理区，1998年定名梅斜村村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

据村情介绍，村域44平方千米，山地72220亩，水田974.4亩、旱地305.6亩，人均耕地1.2亩；分10个村民小组，267户、1093人，党员36人。村集体年收入10万多元，集体与农民的收入都主要来自林木和毛竹的种植加工。^[1]
