热水村在江尾镇西部的山区，离翁源县城30多千米，设8个村小组。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年这里是热水村乡，1958年改为热水村大队；1983年复称热水村乡，1986年起设村委会，1993年改称管理区，1998年定名热水村村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

据村情介绍，村域23.52平方千米，山林2.6万亩，耕地985亩，其中旱地269亩、水田696亩；全村150户、640人，党员26人。村民靠种植、经营山林和外出务工谋生，村情称扶贫双到工作之后，集体和村民的经济有了较大改善。^[1]
