小坑村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域中部。[1] 全村面积约9平方公里，村民小组共21个，村委会介绍的总人口为3199人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约13公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约7公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，小坑大队设于1958年；1983年12月改乡时与塘贝合为小塘乡，1987年1月分设，称小坑村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，小坑村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2019年10月，小坑村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
  • 2024年11月，小坑村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1] 村集体经济方面，村集体增收靠引进的火龙果种植项目。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

小坑村的文昌塔被列入从化区文物保护单位。[2]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的南胜门楼、西镇门楼，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
