龙角村在行政区划上属从化区鳌头镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域中部。[1] 全村面积约2平方公里，村民小组共10个，村委会介绍的总人口为1478人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约15公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约5公里。[1]

村里有建于1875年的邱氏宗祠。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立龙角大队，到1983年12月归入人和改设为人和乡，到1987年1月分出后改名龙角村民委员会。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，龙角村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2024年11月，龙角村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村里的农业格局为：山地栽种荔枝、龙眼和黄皮，水田种水稻、蔬菜和花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的邱氏宗祠始建于1875年，占地面积338.58平方米，面阔11.4米、进深29.7米，三进三间，朝向西南，砖石木结构，硬山顶；前两进的山墙呈人字形，后一进的山墙为镬耳式。祠属从化区不可移动文物，是区里重点保护的文物之一。[2]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的门楼、邱氏公祠，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
