龙角村是荔城街道的行政村，面积约4平方千米，约270户、1415人，分12个合作社，下有龙角、谢美、办冚、羊耳冚、大岭观5个自然村。[1]
村后的山形似龙角，村名由此而来。村庆日为农历正月十三，据称建村已有一千一百多年。[1]

村民以种水稻为主，也种番茄、青瓜，水果有荔枝、乌榄等。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村子建于唐末。1955年并入棠厦乡，1957年并入农业合作社，1958年公社化时称龙角大队，1983年恢复龙角乡，1987年撤区改镇，设龙角村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
龙角村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布），在2021年11月获得2020年度「广州名村」称号，并于2025年6月认定为2024年度广州市级美丽乡村。[1]
