历史沿革[edit]
1951至1956年归新圩乡；1958年公社化，划入红十月人民公社，1960年起归新圩公社。1962年帽塘与格木两个大队合并，沿用格木之名。1983年撤社设区，格木成乡；1986年建格木村民委员会，1990年5月曾称格木管理区，1998年后恢复村民委员会之名。村名取自驻地格木村，1998年经县政府批准设立。[1]

下辖7个村民小组，有农户428户、总人口1858人（未注年份）。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地面积1337亩，距县城区约3公里，村集体靠发包固定资产增加收入。[1]2019年9月，格木村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
