光明村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于良沙路旁，面积约4.5平方公里，下分6个村民小组，人口约1600多人，距镇区12公里，村委会设在良沙路1979号。村名寓意欣欣向荣、前途光明。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属慕德里司赤迳堡，民国属番禺县禺北，1953年划入番禺县十一区的金汉乡，至1958年成为竹料人民公社的光明大队，1995年属良田镇，1998年设村委会，2005年起属钟落潭镇。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

山上种水果，水田种水稻、花生。2020至2022年列入淘宝村名单，2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
