大坑村在康厝畲族乡境内，村落处在山谷的坑地上，范围较大，包括楼艮、上村、下村等片区，村名因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年时属西铭乡地界。1961年划入杜洋小公社，1966年7月并入西铭大队，1977年另立大坑大队。[1]
