大坑村是上杭县太拔镇南片的行政村，属交通不便的半山区，距镇集镇约4千米。村名的来历：两侧高山夹峙，中间有一条大坑溪流，村民居于溪两旁，故名大坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地隶属胜运里，民国时为大坑保。1949年解放初称大坑村。1958年公社化后，1961年从原大队划出，改称太拔工委太拔公社大坑大队。[2]

1984年改称太拔乡大坑村民委员会，2014年改称太拔镇大坑村民委员会。村内辖十个自然村，村委会驻村里自然村。[2]

经济[edit]

村里以种养业为主，村民中有不少人外出务工，村风纯朴，村民勤劳善良。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将大坑村评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。龙岩市农业农村局于2022年8月认定大坑村为「龙岩市2022年市级一村一品专业村」，产业为蜜柚；福建省农业农村厅同年12月确定大坑村为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产业同为蜜柚。[1]

2024年1月，大坑村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
