大坑村地处安厚镇西北一带，背靠三面环绕的山尖之东坡，距镇政府约4.5公里，下辖21个自然村与20个村民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建村时村址原是多处大坑，后因风水之说，村民将低洼处填平建居，村因此得名。[1]

1984年改为大坑村委会，前身是1958年安厚公社下的大坑大队；1950年此地属第五区大坑乡，1945年则是平南乡的大坑保。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村面积5.28平方千米，其中水田1720亩，山地9800亩。村域北邻国强乡，西与东川村交界。[1]
