坑口村在马铺乡中部，是库区移民村，也是革命老区村；2024年1月，它被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落背后有一条坑，前面有一个出口，故命名为坑口。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1985年，车墩大队的水库移民就地迁移，与原地居住的群众合并为一个大队。1986年迁至坑口建村，沿用至今。[3]
