甘利村是信宜市新宝镇所辖的行政村，在镇的北部，省道罗水线贯穿全境。博雅地名网所载数据：全村分22个村民小组，411户、2238人，总面积8.4平方千米，耕地744亩。[1]

1962年分设数个生产大队，因办事处设在上甘利，统称甘利大队，并管辖下甘利，1983年建乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地名由来[edit]
大约清光绪年间，当地土地肥沃，盛产柑橘和桃子，取名柑桃，解放后改称甘利。[2]

甘利村年平均气温21.8摄氏度，年降雨量约1477至1985毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植的主要经济作物是木薯、香榄；特色收入来源有小水电站。据同一网站所载，上一年全村农村经济总收入972万元。[1]
