泮坑村在鹤山市共和镇西北部，距镇区2.6公里，面积6.5平方千米，辖17条自然村，村民讲客家话。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
泮坑尾、泮坑口两村同处一条山坑，村委会因此得名。[1]清代属新化都，民国属第三区；1958年为共和公社泮坑大队，1983年称泮坑乡，1986年称泮坑管理区，1998年起称泮坑村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
东邻南坑村，南接良庚村，西与鹤城镇东坑相邻，北与鹤城的小官田、坑尾相望，江鹤一级公路从村中经过。17条自然村中有大屋、老屋、新屋、石桥、长二、丰二、雷屋、芋子、大路唇、丰一、月字塘、东心、长一、凌屋、黄竹、村心、茶凹等。[1]
人口民族[edit]
2008年人口1904人，华侨、港澳同胞1600人。[1]
经济[edit]
2008年有耕地696亩、鱼塘133亩、山地4400亩，以水稻为主，兼种瓜菜、花生并养鱼；人均收入6324元，全村经济总收入合计10500万元。[1]
2017年10月，泮坑村被评为第一批广东省卫生村；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
