历史沿革[edit]
坑口村建于明代初年，1949年前隶属番禺县崇文二十四乡。1990年成立村委会，2002年改制为居委会，2014年又并入原华丽苑居委会。[1]
文化[edit]
坑口村每年农历正月二十六举行生菜会：村民到观音庙上香，据说这天是「观音开库」，人们向观音「借库」；「生菜」与「生财」谐音，故有吃生菜包的习俗，还有转风车、摸螺摸蚬等活动。[2]百度百科称这一习俗已有300多年历史。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年11月，坑口社区被认定为「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
