坑口村是库区移民村，距安砂镇集镇约20公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落三面环山、地形如凹坑，村内只有一个村口，村名由此得来。[1]

明清时期此地属三十二都，民国时属安砂乡。[1] 1958年10月坑口大队归安砂人民公社；1973年修建安砂水库，村民迁至此处建村；1984年设立坑口村民委员会，隶属安砂镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，坑口村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
