上河村是横河镇的行政村，位于河流上游，与下河村相对。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清朝初年卢氏从本区的卢村迁来，后来有外地居民陆续迁入；因与下河有上下游之分，此处在上游，称上河。[1]民国时期属第九区智勇乡；新中国成立后设九区上河乡；1958年10月成立横河公社上河大队；1983年11月称横河区上河乡；1986年1月称横河镇上河管理区；1999年3月起称上河村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
上河村2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号，2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
